Key Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:

1. Input payroll-related data into existing payroll and timekeeping systems.

2. Extract data from the timekeeping system.

3. Execute payroll processing tasks.

4. Generate and analyze payroll reports on a biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis using the current payroll system.

5. Compile ad hoc reports for the executive team, managers, and other departments as requested.

6. Review and analyze quarterly tax filings and year-end W-2 forms from the payroll system, making necessary adjustments.

7. Analyze and prepare monthly and annual reports regarding company-paid fuel usage for W-2 reporting, including correspondence with employees.

8. Conduct research on payroll-related matters, including tax withholding, overtime, 401(k) contributions, loans, leaves of absence, garnishments, and COBRA across various states.

9. Stay informed about current SOX controls and compile audit data for auditors.

10. Assist with audits, month-end closing processes, and special projects as assigned.

11. Perform other duties as assigned.
