Summary:


The primary role of a customer support specialist is to engage with clients to deliver information in response to inquiries regarding products and services, as well as to address and resolve complaints.

A typical customer support specialist is tasked with identifying the client's concerns, proposing potential solutions, or providing necessary follow-up.

Customer support representatives may handle inbound, outbound, or a mix of both communications.

Job Responsibilities:
Address customers' service or billing issues by executing tasks such as processing exchanges, issuing refunds, and modifying invoices.
Reach out to customers to address inquiries or to inform them of the outcomes of claim investigations and any forthcoming adjustments.
Escalate unresolved customer complaints to appropriate departments for further examination.
Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, documenting details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, along with actions taken.

Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, keen attention to detail, strong customer service aptitude, and interpersonal skills.
Capability to work autonomously and manage one's time effectively.
Proficiency in accurately documenting and recording customer/client information.
Prior experience with software applications, such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
2-4 years of experience in customer service is required.
