As a global supplier of innovative products designed for environmental protection and water/wastewater conveyance and treatment, we are expanding our sales team and seeking individuals who are driven by a commitment to protecting the environment and improving water quality and infrastructure.
- This role requires the oversight of long cycle product sales for municipal water and wastewater applications designed to protect concrete, extend the design life of water/wastewater systems, and reduce inflow and infiltration (I&I).
- Leverage your commercial expertise in the municipal market and technical background in water and wastewater systems to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Primary duties will involve presenting value-added technical products and solutions to engineers, distributors, and end-users within the municipal water and wastewater sector to influence product specifications for projects.
- Present technical/value-producing products and solutions to engineers and system owners within the municipal water, wastewater, and industrial sectors to influence project specifications.
- Lead business development initiatives for both existing and new customers by collaborating with distribution partners, consulting engineers, and installation contractors.
- Provide support throughout the consultative sales process, including reviewing specifications, coordinating training for distributor and installation partners, and staying informed about the competitive municipal market landscape.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred.
- Over 5 years of professional experience in the municipal water and wastewater industry, including familiarity with reinforced concrete pipe/structures and concrete protection.
- More than 3 years of outside sales experience, including managing, driving, or supporting lengthy sales cycle projects.
- Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence specifications.
- Experience utilizing relevant sales tools and CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50-60% for meetings with distributors, consulting engineers, end-users, participation in events and tradeshows, and engagement with manufacturing site and functional leadership teams.
