Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Supervisor to join our team at North Beach Village Resorts. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing guest reservations, and overseeing the daily operations of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage guest reservations, including same-day and future reservations, cancellations, and room assignments.
  • Assist in interviewing, training, and supervising new hotel staff.
  • Coordinate room status updates with the housekeeping department and notify housekeeping of check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, special requests, and part-day rooms.
  • Use persuasive selling techniques to sell rooms and promote other services of the hotel.
  • Know daily activities and meetings taking place in the hotel and report any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager or assistant manager.
  • Manage and resolve all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process guest check-outs and handle monetary transactions.
  • Oversee everyday operations of all front desk team members and coordinate with various potential owners and resolve all inquiries and complaints.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of all resort supplies and provide staff with all supplies as per requirement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate with the public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner.
  • Knowledge of surrounding areas and local events.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit, and cash handling policies and procedures. Able to properly secure guest information.
  • Ability to learn safety, emergency, and accident prevention policies and procedures.
  • Skilled in the use of front office equipment.
  • Knowledge of proper telephone etiquette.
