Position Overview:
As a Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in representing the Guardian brand and delivering exceptional customer service. You will interact with customers, conduct thorough inspections of their homes, and present solutions to meet their roofing and guttering needs. Our ideal candidate is a motivated, results-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for building relationships and helping clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sell complete roofing systems and roofing repairs and maintenance to customers, utilizing the residential sales, measuring, and pricing system.
  2. Explain to customers what their roofing system needs are and the reason for the recommendations to provide the best option for their needs.
  3. Be safety-conscious on both the job site and driving in accordance with company policy.
  4. Take care of customers' time and property, including wearing shoe covers while in their homes.
  5. Explain and sell the Club Membership program to all potential customers.
  6. Maintain a closing ratio of 40% or greater for Roof Replacements and 50% on Repair and Maintenance cost centers.
  7. Complete the necessary paperwork to process sold jobs in a timely manner, adhering to the 24-hour turnaround time from point of sale to delivered to the office for processing.

Requirements:
  1. High School Diploma or Equivalent/Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field preferred.
  2. Coordinate daily work with multiple crews.
  3. Manage job costs and installation quality.
  4. 2-5 years outside sales experience.
  5. Excellent communication skills, able to build strong trust levels with clients and provide a great experience before, during, and after the project.
  6. Excellent time management and organization skills.
  7. Business and financial knowledge.
  8. Strong ability to help others succeed.
  9. Ability to climb a ladder.
  10. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  11. Ability to be on roofs up to 40 ft tall.
  12. Ability to maneuver tight crawl spaces and attics.

Location:
Greater Seattle area, location varies daily depending on appointment sites.
