Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a skilled Installation Project Supervisor to oversee the deployment of Boplan products through third-party contractors. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that installations are executed efficiently, within budget constraints, and meet customer expectations across the nation.

The Installation Project Supervisor will collaborate closely with various internal teams and external partners to facilitate a seamless installation experience from initiation to completion. Achieving success in this role requires effective management of all installations to ensure profitability and high standards of service delivery, leading to satisfied clients and motivated installation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a portfolio of 20 to 50 installations concurrently, working with some of the largest enterprises in the United States.
  • Coordinate with the sales department to gather essential information for preparing and managing installations with clients and contractors.
  • Employ project management tools to track and manage all installation phases.
  • Collaborate with the CAD team to ensure timely provision of necessary installation schematics.
  • Collect customer approvals and relevant documentation for each project (including forms and images).
  • Handle pricing, contract awards, and communication with our network of external contractors and subcontractors.
  • Identify the preferred communication style for each client and maintain a professional and empathetic approach when discussing timelines, updates, changes, and potential challenges.
  • Address installation challenges and collaborate with the installation team to find solutions. Occasional travel may be required to oversee installations and guide both contractors and clients to ensure successful outcomes. This necessitates strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and communication capabilities.
  • Continuously seek improvements in the installation process and provide constructive feedback to the project management team.
  • Maintain our certified installer database by onboarding new contractors and dequalifying those who do not meet Boplan's standards.
  • Ensure compliance of all contractors with our installation program terms and conditions (e.g., safety certifications, adherence to COI requirements, and training for certification).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel 10-30% to client locations nationally.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software; intermediate Excel skills preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
