Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of therapeutic programming, reporting directly to the Programs Manager. Your responsibilities will include advocating for clients and staff, ensuring high-quality care in accordance with the CARE/TCI practice model. Key duties involve:
- Coordinating shift planning and providing coaching to on-duty staff, emphasizing CARE principles.
- Assisting in the selection, supervision, and performance evaluations of Youth Care Workers.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and overseeing client paperwork.
- Modeling and promoting a strong work ethic focused on delivering quality care for children.
Building trust and fostering strong relationships will be essential as you facilitate communication among various team members. You will identify staff development needs, recommend ongoing training, and actively participate in treatment planning for residents. Your commitment will ensure a supportive and effective environment, contributing to the success of our therapeutic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Provide proof of automobile insurance
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
