Job Description

Fantasee Lighting is a leading provider of theatrical lighting rentals in Metro-Detroit, serving a diverse range of live events from corporate to concerts to weddings. With a rich history dating back to 1976, we strive to deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive work environment for our team members.

The Installations Project Manager plays a critical role in the Installations & Service team, reporting to the Operations Manager and overseeing the strategic direction, coordination, and execution of installations. This includes assisting with equipment specifications, ordering, drawings, and crew scheduling, as well as providing pre-installation and on-site management to ensure a high-quality experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with quote requirements and specifying, preparing gear lists for ordering
  • Coordinating installation technicians, managing equipment ordering, delivery, and installation
  • Communicating with clients, account managers, and technicians
  • Supporting the Installations & Service Team and Operations Manager as needed

Requirements include:

  • High level of technical knowledge and service/installation of lighting and rigging systems
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working shows, managing crews, and solving problems
  • Bachelor's Degree in an associated field (preferred)

Desirable skills and abilities include:

  • System design and implementation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to respond to client needs in a positive manner while maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Team Player with a strong work ethic and continuous improvement mindset

Compensation includes a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on experience, as well as PTO, health and life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with employer match after one year of service.
