Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly qualified Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating students with communication disorders, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers and other professionals to support student learning.
Responsibilities- Assess and treat students with communication disorders, including speech, language, and hearing impairments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student learning and develop strategies to promote communication skills
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and involve them in the treatment process
- Stay current with best practices in speech and language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or a related field
- Valid California CTC issued credential for Speech Language Pathology Services or equivalent
- Experience working with students with communication disorders, preferably in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a focus on providing high-quality services to students
