Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team at the Langone Orthopedic Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform medically prescribed radiographic procedures to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly stored and readily available.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, including X-ray machines and digital imaging systems.
  • Develop and implement protocols for radiation safety and quality control.
  • Provide excellent patient care, ensuring that patients are comfortable and informed throughout the imaging process.
Requirements
  • Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • New York State license or temporary permit to practice.
  • Diplomatic Radiology Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Preferred Qualifications
  • College graduate.
