Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team at Langone Orthopedic Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic procedures with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination process.
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, including X-ray machines and digital imaging systems.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in radiologic technology and patient care.
Requirements
  • Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • New York State license or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Diagnostic Radiology Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
