X-Ray Technologist Langone Orthopedic Center

We are seeking a highly skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team at the Langone Orthopedic Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic procedures with precision and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards.
- Position patients and radiographic equipment to ensure maximum information is obtained.
- Use lead markers and positioning devices to improve radiographic quality.
- Follow accepted radiologic procedures and use medical information to determine type of protocol required for radiographic examination.
- Recognize need for and follow isolation precautions.
- Effectively assess patients' information and status, and follow appropriate procedure(s) accordingly.
- Certificate from accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
- New York State license or temporary permit to practice.
- Diagnostic Radiology Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
