Customer Service Role

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Customer Service Representative at Family Dollar. As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Your primary responsibilities will include greeting customers and assisting them with selecting merchandise, completing cash register transactions accurately and efficiently, and answering questions and addressing concerns regarding the store and its offerings.

To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, a strong ability to multitask, and a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a positive shopping experience for every customer through exceptional customer service.
  • Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, handling customer payments and returns with professionalism.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of store products and services, staying up-to-date on promotions, discounts, and new arrivals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets, promote store initiatives, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education or relevant experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as scheduled by management.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, teamwork, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Estimated Hourly Wage: $12-$15, depending on location and experience.
