Transdev is seeking a Transportation Operations Supervisor to oversee daily activities in Milwaukee, WI. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that all transportation routes are executed in accordance with safety regulations. The Supervisor will also provide guidance and support to drivers, emphasizing the importance of safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate job expectations and responsibilities to drivers.
- Manage daily scheduling, provide counseling, and prepare evaluation reports for local management.
- Conduct on-site accident investigations and assist drivers in completing necessary reports.
- Deliver training sessions on safety protocols and driver performance.
- Monitor drivers during operations, addressing safety concerns and documenting any violations.
- Act as a liaison between drivers and clients regarding customer service matters.
- Assess and monitor driver safety, performance, and compliance with employment policies.
- Support the Safety Manager with compliance related to drug testing and recordkeeping.
- Assist with dispatching, driving, interviewing, and various clerical tasks as required.
- Ensure all driver qualifications are met at the location.
- Maintain necessary licenses and certifications to operate vehicles and drive routes as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred supervisory experience with hourly employees and 2-3 years of experience in transit supervision.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with basic vehicle mechanical processes and maintenance.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage with individuals at all levels, including drivers, customers, and management.
- Preferred experience in human resources and training.
- Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends.
- Demonstrated reliability in attendance and punctuality.
- Possession of a reliable vehicle for travel within the service area as necessary.
