Position Overview:
This role serves as a crucial link between Covenant Health and our referral sources, including individual practitioners and healthcare facilities. The primary objective is to foster relationships that promote referrals to our services, ensuring that individuals in need of hospice, home health, and palliative care consider Covenant Health as their provider of choice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture referral relationships with healthcare practitioners and facilities.
- Generate and track referrals to Covenant Health.
- Provide mentorship and training to team members in marketing and sales strategies.
- Act as a knowledgeable advocate for patients, ensuring their needs are met.
- Deliver educational resources to key personnel in referral offices.
- Collaborate with community relations teams to enhance market presence.
- Monitor and report on referral trends and market changes.
- Support organizational growth initiatives in partnership with operational leadership.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about healthcare trends and regulations.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of proven success in healthcare sales, along with a degree in marketing, business, or a related field. A background in healthcare roles such as nursing or social work is advantageous. Strong communication skills are essential for success in this position.
Physical Requirements:
This role may involve medium to heavy lifting and requires considerable travel. Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary.
