Healthcare Referral Coordinator

Conviva Care Centers is seeking a skilled Referral Coordinator to join our team. As a Referral Coordinator, you will play a vital role in scheduling and pre-registering patients for exams and procedures with specialists and providers outside of the primary care physician's office.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule and pre-register patients for exams and procedures
- Perform basic administrative and clerical tasks
- Communicate with patients and referring providers to gather and share relevant information
- Work under close supervision and within established policies and guidelines
- 2 years of hands-on healthcare experience in a clinical setting, preferably within the Medicare population
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Proficient with medical terminology
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Excellent professional communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT coding
- Referral experience
- Medical Assistant or Professional State Certifications related to healthcare
