Job Title: Diesel Technician Preventative Maintenance

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our team at Ryder System. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy-duty vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers
  • Replace defective components as instructed
  • Perform facility maintenance duties
  • Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification, post-secondary degree, or technical certifications preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
