Job Title: Field Operations Supervisor at Green Space Ghana

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Operations Supervisor to join our team at Green Space Ghana. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our garden setup projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and plan for garden setup projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Supervise and implement garden setups, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify potential issues and opportunities.
  • Provide maintenance services to clients, ensuring their gardens remain healthy and thriving.
  • Offer advisory services to clients, providing expert guidance on garden care and maintenance.
  • Develop and execute training curriculum for clients, enhancing their knowledge and skills.
  • Participate in the development of training manuals, ensuring our expertise is shared with clients.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Assist in sales of products to customers, promoting our services and offerings.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Honesty and transparency are essential for this role.
  • A diploma or degree in a relevant field is preferred, but experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
  • Commitment to following procedures and processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to clients and colleagues of all ages.
  • Ability to listen to superiors, colleagues, and customers, providing a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in person, building rapport and developing effective relationships.

  • Willingness to travel as needed and work on weekends and occasional evenings.

  • Knowledge of horticulture methods and materials, landscaping, and cultivation of trees, flowers, fruits, and vegetables.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage your own workload.

  • Business and financial awareness, with the ability to manage budgets and resources.
  • Knowledge of vegetable propagation and care, with the ability to provide expert guidance.

  • Skill in interpreting and completing landscape plans, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
