Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Energy Sales Manager to join our team in Baltimore, MD. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a team of sales specialists to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets by leading from the front in door-to-door sales
- Support the Sales Manager with tasks to boost and optimize team performance
- Direct marketing to clients
- Lead effective communication and manage email correspondence
- Utilize training tools for personal and career growth
- Foster a fun, innovative work environment
- Promote Mpower Direct culture and lead by example by leading from the front in door-to-door sales
- Participate in daily development programs
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a direct marketing sales environment, with 1-2 years in a leadership/supervisory role
- Experience in door-to-door (D2D) sales, preferably within the renewable energy sector
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead and motivate a team
- Basic interview skills and knowledge of staffing processes
- Proven track record of high sales performance
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
What We Offer
- On-target earnings: $110,000+
- Commission, bonuses, and overrides included
