This Job: Client Services Specialist

We are seeking a Client Services Specialist to provide enhanced service to our customers in the placement and maintenance of residential property insurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Responding to inquiries and questions from agents, customers, and internal departments via various communication channels.
  • Providing accurate information to agents and customers.
  • Researching and resolving issues.
  • Answering calls professionally and efficiently.
  • Providing administrative support as required.
  • Processing mail and correspondence.
  • Participating in projects and assignments that support policy services.
  • Maintaining a superior level of customer service.
Requirements

To be a top candidate for this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's Degree (preferred).
  • Two years of personal lines experience, contact center experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Florida licenses 20-44 (Personal Lines), 2-20 (General Lines), or 4-40 (Customer Service) (preferred).
  • Demonstrated skills in computer software applications.
  • Specific knowledge in a particular line of business and/or additional education may be required.
  • Familiarity with various types of insurance policies (preferred).

  • Proven ability in customer service.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups via telephone and in writing.
  • Ability to communicate with a wide variety of technical, professional, and consumer clients.
  • Ability to develop and maintain open and trusting working relationships with clients/agents.
  • Ability to balance timeliness and accuracy.
  • Ability to listen and communicate clearly while maintaining proper confidentiality.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to innovate and be resourceful in information gathering.
Environment

This role is based in a normal business office environment. The ideal candidate will be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time while operating a computer and other office productivity machinery. Occasional movement is required to access file cabinets, office machinery, or communicate with coworkers. Travel is minimal, as required.
