Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our financial reporting team as a Chief Financial Reporting Officer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and financial reporting for publicly traded companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the financial reporting team responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial statements and related disclosures.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current with evolving accounting and financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of external financial reports, including quarterly and annual filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
  • Collaborate with the Investor Relations team to provide accurate and timely financial information to shareholders, analysts, and other stakeholders.
  • Research and address complex accounting issues, transactions, and new accounting standards.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, variance analysis, and financial performance assessments to support executive decision-making.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the financial reporting team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA Certification.
  • Extensive experience in financial services, preferably in a publicly traded company or a financial institution.
  • Proven experience in overseeing financial reporting for publicly traded companies, including SEC reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in historical financial statements analysis and reporting.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and standards (GAAP, IFRS).
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities to interpret financial data and provide valuable insights to support decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and reporting requirements.
