Marketing Manager Job Description
The Marketing Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for promoting sales and creating a positive identity for the company through promotional material and personal visits.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing principles and be able to effectively communicate the company's vision and standards to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively 1:1 and in group settings
- Easily articulate the vision and standards
- Keep team and referral sources informed
- Communicate information on market share strategy to team
- Generate new solutions to problems or suggest innovative improvements to current processes
- Create promotional material as needed
- Investigate competitive landscape and identify opportunities to gain market share
- Pre-plan weekly sales activities
- Categorize referral sources by profitability
- Maintain up-to-date competitive files, charges and pay rates
- Maintain all sales activity in the Customer Relationship Manager database
- Maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness in daily activities
- Tune in to the opinions, feelings and needs of people
- Understand the impact of one's behavior on others and be patient and empathetic
- Let others speak and actively listen to address specific needs
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with all stakeholders
- Build referral pipeline by nurturing genuine relationships
- Exhibit friendliness, sense of humor, genuineness and a caring nature
- Even when frustrated, treat people with respect
- Be energized by developing and meeting annual sales goals
- Establish new sales opportunities

- Coordinate sales activity with all office staff to ensure appropriate follow-up
- Be highly knowledgeable in the agency service lines, service fees and client base
- Propose services and institute contractual agreements with clients
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent with two years of business experience
- Basic office and computer skills and organizational abilities
- Excellent interpersonal relations abilities
- Excellent telephone skills
- Knowledge of common medical terminology
- Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment
- Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours
