Neurosurgery Physician Opportunity at Ascension Seton

Ascension Seton is seeking a skilled Neurosurgery Physician to join our team at the Seton Brain and Spine Institute. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients in our growing market.
About the OpportunityThis is a great opportunity for a Neurosurgery Physician to partner with Ascension Seton to provide medical services to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurosurgery and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Coordinate discharge planning with case management.
- Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- Accept patient referrals from other physicians.
- Act as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses.
- Participate in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.
- Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.
