About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurosurgeon to join our team at Ascension Seton. As a Neurosurgeon, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with neurological disorders, performing surgical procedures, and providing expert medical care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with neurological disorders, including brain and spinal cord injuries, tumors, and other conditions.
  • Perform surgical procedures, including craniotomies, spinal fusions, and other neurosurgical procedures.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including medication, therapy, and surgery.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including neurologists, radiologists, and rehabilitation specialists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in neurosurgery, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of a neurosurgery residency program.
  • Board certification in neurosurgery.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Texas.
