Position Title: Molding Operations Specialist

Position Overview:

Responsible for the setup of molds, initiating and troubleshooting the molding operations, and providing guidance to trainees as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install molds in machinery and oversee production utilizing established procedures
  • Mentor process technician trainees as required
  • Diagnose molding operations to enhance quality and productivity
  • Propose and implement strategies to boost departmental efficiency
  • Address quality issues and determine underlying causes
  • Relay critical information to management
  • Maintain cleanliness and adhere to environmental standards

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of experience in mold installation and injection molding operations
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and operating forklifts
  • Familiarity with plastic materials and computer-controlled machinery

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication abilities
  • Mechanical skills and proficiency with hand tools
  • Capability to climb ladders and lift weights up to 70 pounds

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Manufacturing setting. Must be able to perform physical activities such as bending, sitting, standing, and lifting.
