Position Title: Molding Operations Specialist
Position Overview:
Responsible for the setup of molds, initiating and troubleshooting the molding operations, and providing guidance to trainees as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install molds in machinery and oversee production utilizing established procedures
- Mentor process technician trainees as required
- Diagnose molding operations to enhance quality and productivity
- Propose and implement strategies to boost departmental efficiency
- Address quality issues and determine underlying causes
- Relay critical information to management
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to environmental standards
Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of experience in mold installation and injection molding operations
- Proficient in troubleshooting and operating forklifts
- Familiarity with plastic materials and computer-controlled machinery
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication abilities
- Mechanical skills and proficiency with hand tools
- Capability to climb ladders and lift weights up to 70 pounds
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Manufacturing setting. Must be able to perform physical activities such as bending, sitting, standing, and lifting.
