Job Summary:

The Outreach Coordinator, CPE will provide general administrative support and manage outreach training and development programs within the Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Training. This role will strengthen partnerships, ensure adherence to policy, and assist with program administration to promote stable and productive relationships between the university and local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, promote, and maintain internal and external partnerships to support outreach programs.
  • Manage and facilitate outreach program content and materials.
  • Assist with marketing, promotional materials, website updates, and other resources in support of outreach programs.
  • Monitor outreach budget and support all aspects of program functions.
  • Identify opportunities for program improvement or outreach program development.

Requirements:

  • Strong written communication and administrative skills with a high level of detail.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
  • High level of computer proficiency and ability to use database, spreadsheet, web conference, presentation, and word processing software applications.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team and independently in a high-volume work setting.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to complete projects.
  • Experience in programming, planning, and event management.
  • One (1) year of professional experience.
  • A valid Wisconsin driver's license and a working vehicle to travel and ability to obtain driver authorization through the University.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in working with adult learners.
  • Experience in higher education or training and development.
