Research Scientist
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at the Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center. The successful candidate will work closely with our senior leadership team to conduct rigorous research on cancer survivorship issues, developing innovative solutions to improve survivorship research and care.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct high-quality research on cancer survivorship issues, leveraging large administrative datasets.
- Develop research methods to answer academic questions of interest.
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement efficient coding and data handling processes.
- Meet with and brief external contacts on research findings.
- Support junior staff and fellows in their research endeavors.
- Ph.D. or equivalent combination of education and experience in medicine and psychology or related field.
- Strong technical skills in statistics, survivorship research, and quantitative methods.
- Orientation and familiarity with research and questions that align with our survivorship research agenda and mission.
- Results-oriented, flexible, and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced setting.
This is a two-year appointment, renewable based on mutual agreement. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within the field.
