Physician Scientist Opportunity

VCU Health - MCV Physicians is seeking a highly skilled Physician Scientist to join our team in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing clinical services in the Hepatology clinics at VCU Health System, including both clinics on the Medical College of Virginia Hospital campus and in Hepatology outreach locations.
  • Providing teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows in the management of patients with liver conditions, with specific expertise in the diagnosis and management of chronic liver disorders.
  • Conducting basic science and/or clinical research and pursuing a Physician Scientist track.
  • Fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment and promoting equity and inclusion.
Requirements:
  • Board Certification/Board Eligibility in GI and Hepatology.
  • Basic Science and/or Clinical Research experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to pursuing a Physician Scientist track.
