Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Clinical Director to lead the Oncology department in Charlotte, North Carolina. This leadership role involves overseeing nursing operations at 10 Radiation Oncology sites within the GCM.

About the Role

This position requires a registered nurse with advanced education and professional certification. The ideal candidate will have experience in oncology nursing, transformational leadership, and strategic planning. The successful applicant will be responsible for driving integration, developing clinical practice policies, supporting professional development, and ensuring alignment with Magnet standards and TJC accreditation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinically effective and efficient systems of care and service within the continuum of care.
  • Drive integration across multiple sites and develop and implement clinical practice policies that support high-quality patient care.
  • Provide nurses with an environment that supports their professional practice, health, and well-being.
  • Manage people and resources to ensure safe and efficient patient care operations.
  • Develop and implement approaches to attain top decile performance on all quality and patient satisfaction metrics.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state where you work and reside.
  • MSN required, preferably with a specialization in oncology nursing.
  • Appropriate professional leadership certification required within 1 year of eligibility for professional certification exam.
  • Previous leadership experience in oncology nursing preferred.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
