POSITION SUMMARY:

The Audiologist is accountable for the autonomous assessment, analysis, and diagnosis of auditory system performance. This role involves crafting personalized recommendations and treatment strategies, along with providing education and counseling to patients and their families.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the medical team and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document all relevant clinical observations to support a thorough, family-centered hearing health plan.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Doctorate Degree (non MD) or a Master's degree in Audiology (acceptable if graduated before 2007).
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Current Audiologist License (CA).
  • BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
  • Dispensing Audiology license to be obtained within one year of employment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, utilizing critical thinking to make informed, strategic decisions in patient care.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
  • Two years of clinical practice in Audiology, particularly focusing on pediatric care.

COMPENSATION:

The anticipated salary range for this role is $43.57 to $59.91. Rady Children's Hospital is dedicated to maintaining competitive and equitable compensation by regularly reviewing market standards. This range reflects the expected hiring range for qualified candidates, considering various factors such as experience, education, licensure, and unique skill sets.
