Lead Audiologist

As a Lead Audiologist at Sutter Health, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating patients with hearing, balance, and other related disorders. This position requires a high level of expertise and leadership skills to lead program teams, develop key departmental policies, and influence change initiatives within the department and with other key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Assess and treat patients with hearing, balance, and other related disorders
Lead program teams, including inpatient, outpatient, and acute rehab teams
Develop key departmental policies and procedures
Influence change initiatives within the department and with other key stakeholders
Facilitate and lead department-level participation in organization-wide performance improvement initiatives/projects
Provide staff performance appraisal input and cover for supervisor/manager/director absence, if requested
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited audiology program
Licensed Audiologist
Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology
8 years of recent relevant experience
Skills and Knowledge:
Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills
Decisive judgment and ability to work independently
Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements
Ability to work in a demanding work environment and organize multiple priorities
Effective and efficient professional communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
