About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Audiologist to join our team at Sharp Community Medical Group. As a Clinical Audiologist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive audiological services to our patients, including hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, and vestibular testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry, to evaluate the extent and nature of patients' hearing disorders.
  • Interpret test results, diagnose hearing and balance disorders, and develop customized treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing disorders, treatment options, and expectations.
  • Recommend and fit hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other assistive listening devices to meet the specific needs of patients.
  • Perform balance assessments and vestibular testing to diagnose and treat issues related to balance and dizziness.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as otolaryngologists and speech-language pathologists, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documenting evaluation results, recommendations, and follow-up appointments in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure in the State of California as an Audiologist, or eligibility to obtain such licensure by time of appointment.
