Farmers Insurance-Portland HQ is seeking a skilled Financial Protection Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our District sales team to identify opportunities for new customers, develop sales strategies, and promote our comprehensive products and services including auto, home, business, and life insurance.

About the Opportunity

This position requires you to meet and exceed new business production goals and objectives as established. You will also solicit for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources, and develop ongoing networking relationships with key stakeholders such as Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, and Title Companies.

Responsibilities
  • Generating insurance quotes, making sales presentations, and closing sales.
  • Participating in training classes to enhance your skills.
  • Attending networking and community events to build relationships with the public.
  • Leveraging day-to-day skills of being a small business owner.
Requirements
  • Property and Casualty licensed (desired)
  • Ability to handle a high volume of outbound and inbound phone activity.
  • Track record of meeting sales targets (2-3 years of sales experience preferred)
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
  • Goal-oriented and competitive mindset
  • Able to pass a background check.
