Accounts Receivable Role

We are partnering with a reputable Portland-based client to find a meticulous and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist. This position plays a vital part in managing customer accounts and ensuring timely collections while maintaining excellent relationships.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contact business clients to address overdue invoices, secure payment commitments, and forecast monthly collections.
  • Assist with credit investigations utilizing tools such as credit reports and financial statements.
  • Determine appropriate credit limits, manage account blocks, and review and release orders accordingly.
  • Record and post customer payments via cash, check, or credit card transactions.
  • Execute billing, collection, and reporting tasks within designated deadlines.
  • Investigate and resolve account discrepancies by collaborating with sales teams and customers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable, customer files, and records.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legal regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify and implement solutions to resolve issues and improve revenue collection processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and create effective resolutions.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

This role offers an estimated salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on industry standards. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a well-established client in the Portland area.
