Role: Windows Engineer

Work Mode: Onsite (24x7 Rotational Shift) with five days in the office.

Key Responsibilities:


• Conduct cross-platform audits of Active Directory (AD) objects and user permissions.


• Provide architecture, administration, installation, optimization, and troubleshooting for Windows server systems.


• Manage user accounts across Windows and UNIX platforms, including creation, deletion, permissions, and VPN access.


• Develop organizational units in Active Directory (AD) and oversee user security through group policies.


• Manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) across the Active Directory (AD) environment.


• Create and maintain email addresses and distribution lists in Microsoft Exchange.


• Compile data to assist technical writers in creating IT onboarding manuals and prepare reports for system enhancement testers.


• Execute Active Directory consolidation projects for various global clients.


• Administer DNS, DHCP, and WINS services.


• Provide Level 3 support for issues related to Active Directory.


• Transition users from multiple legacy domains into a unified IT infrastructure.


• Collaborate closely with Microsoft to identify risks and implement remediation strategies concerning domain health and future planning.


• Demonstrate strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Batch, and VBScript.


• Experience in intra and/or inter-forest Active Directory migrations.


• Proficient in Active Directory assessment and migration tools.


• Ability to evaluate the Active Directory environment and present findings to stakeholders.


• Strong understanding of Active Directory in a multi-forest environment.


• Familiarity with centralized Identity Management tools such as IAM (Identity & Access Management).


• Excellent communication and presentation skills.


• Understanding of Active Directory integration with various applications.


• Manage promotion and demotion of domain controllers.


• Configure new DNS zones and forwarders in Active Directory.


• Perform authoritative restores.


• Execute bulk changes in Active Directory using PowerShell.


• Modify Domain Level GPOs.


• Create sites, link subnets, and configure costs.


• Troubleshoot replication and name resolution issues.


• Conduct metadata cleanup.


• Publish ADMX templates.


• Engage in enterprise and schema administration.


• Upgrade the Active Directory schema.


• Manage DHCP scope.


• Establish and remove forest and domain trust relationships.


• Add and remove domains.


• Review and approve modifications to group policies.


• Implement registry changes on domain controllers.


• Transfer or seize FSMO roles.


• Raise functional levels.


• Create a delegation permission model.
