About the Role

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the HR department, including payroll, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws. This role will also play a key part in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and policy implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the HR team and oversee the daily operations of the department
  • Manage payroll operations, including bi-weekly payroll and audit processes
  • Oversee compensation programs, including total compensation packages and variable compensation workflows
  • Administer benefits, including enrollment and removal of plan members
  • Manage vendor relationships, including payroll and benefits providers
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies across the organization
  • Collaborate with leadership to understand and implement HR strategies
  • Address employee issues, including accommodations, investigations, and performance management
  • Manage performance reviews and analyze compensation trends
  • Drive employee experience improvements and compliance monitoring
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of three years directly related Human Resources experience
  • Payroll processing experience within ADP is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
  • Thorough knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Proven ability to exercise discretion in matters of confidentiality
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, project management, and follow-up skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation and ability to interface with all levels of the organization
