Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Specialist I to join our team at the State of Delaware. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Timekeeping Department, ensuring the smooth operation of office activities and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate office activities, including planning meetings, tracking workflow, and composing meeting notes.
  • Process documents, reviewing and evaluating records for completeness and conformity with laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Utilize standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Enter, update, modify, delete, retrieve, inquire, and report on data using an automated information system.
Requirements
  1. Six months of experience in coordinating office activities, including planning meetings, tracking workflow, and composing meeting notes.
  2. Six months of experience in document processing, including reviewing and evaluating records for completeness and conformity with laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
  3. Six months of experience in using standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets, or databases.
  4. Six months of experience in using an automated information system to enter, update, modify, delete, retrieve, inquire, and report on data.
