About Us

Allen Honda is a family-owned and operated dealership since 1954. We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resource Manager to join our team in College Station, Texas.

The Human Resource Manager is responsible for performing all Human Resource related duties/functions at Allen Honda. This requires excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as a member of the Management Team.

The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of standard business practices and knowledge of the company philosophy and goals. A minimum of 10-15 years of Human Resources experience is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements company personnel and administrative policies.
  • Develops job opportunity announcements and experience statements.
  • Monitors and implements wage and benefit programs to ensure selection and retention of qualified personnel.
  • Reviews, evaluates, and implements policies, wage schedules, and programs with other members of the Management Team.
  • Conducts and assists management with: Employee screening; onboarding; new employee orientation; monitors and evaluating personnel performance.
  • Initiates/participates in all Employee Relations discussions.
  • Recruits, hires and trains the highest quality workforce.
  • Coordinates all benefits negotiations on an annual basis for Allen Honda.
  • Coordinates all property/casualty negotiations on an annual basis for Allen Honda.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field.
  • 10-15 years of directly related experience in Human Resources.
