POSITION SUMMARY:

The Biomedical Technician II is essential in ensuring the functionality and safety of medical equipment within the healthcare environment. This role involves:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Conducting repairs and performing preventive maintenance on medical devices to uphold operational standards.
2. Ensuring electrical safety protocols are adhered to, safeguarding both patients and staff.
3. Collaborating with medical personnel to support accurate diagnostics and treatment.
4. Maintaining compliance with the Environment of Care regulations.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

An Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent program from military training.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of two (2) years in healthcare biomedical engineering or electronics engineering is required.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

No specific licensure or certification is mandated by law.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience through a biomedical internship is highly regarded.
