GIS Application Specialist

Selectek is seeking a skilled GIS Technician to support an Engineering firm in the utility industry. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Geography or Geo Spatial Science and experience using ArcMap, with other ESRI software also accepted.
The GIS Technician will work closely with the engineering team to determine changes needed to construction prints and make adjustments using Arc MAP and ACAD. Once created, these prints will be sent to teams in the field to rebuild power line systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop construction prints
- Use ArcMap and ACAD to make adjustments and create new designs
- Send revised prints to teams in the field
Working Conditions:
- Monday - Thursday (10 hour shifts)
- Flexibility to start time
- Work from home: Not initially, but may be allowed after direct hire
