Job Title: Behavior Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at Developmental Pathways, Inc. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing in-home support to children and adolescents with Autism and other developmental disabilities.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior plans, collect data, and provide parent training to support the advancement of our clients. This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $24.00, offering flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities
  • Implement 1:1 behavior plans for children and adolescents with Autism in their homes
  • Provide parent training to support the expansion of our clients' skills and abilities
  • Work collaboratively with BCBA-level staff to develop and implement behavior plans
  • Maintain accurate records and data collection
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
Requirements
  • Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass an FBI/DOJ clearance and background check
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Desire to work with young children with behavioral challenges
  • Experience working with children or in a related field (e.g., babysitting, childcare, teaching)
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
