Position Title: Geotechnical Engineer

Location: Various locations

Position Summary:
Sirch Incorporated is in search of a dedicated and proficient Geotechnical Engineer to enhance our team. The successful candidate will possess a robust foundation in geotechnical principles, demonstrating expertise in quality assurance, wall structures, coffer dams, marine barriers, and deep foundations.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive geotechnical evaluations and analyses for diverse projects.
  • Design and supervise the implementation of wall structures, coffer dams, marine barriers, and deep foundations.
  • Maintain quality assurance throughout all phases of project execution.
  • Oversee projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements, financial constraints, and timelines.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and technical documentation.
  • Engage in effective communication with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Perform both design tasks in the office and fieldwork as necessary.
  • Exhibit adaptability and enthusiasm for working on a range of projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and develop new business opportunities leveraging your unique expertise.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred; Engineer-in-Training (EIT) candidates will be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in geotechnical engineering, especially in quality assurance and construction of wall structures, coffer dams, marine barriers, and deep foundations.
  • Strong skills in project management.
  • Exceptional abilities in proposal writing and technical report preparation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Genuine interest in engaging with a variety of projects.
