Key Responsibilities:

  • Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages
  • Ensure prompt client invoicing and utilize financial systems to monitor project financial status
  • Develop and implement project plans, including producing detailed project plans
  • Monitor and apply performance management techniques
  • Manage change control processes
  • Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client through regular meetings and written communications
  • Prepare formal project budget progress and other reports
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with quality standards
  • Construct proposals for new work or variations for existing projects
  • Identify opportunities to improve project management procedures, templates, and products
  • Identify and ensure that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality, safety, health, and environment issues
  • Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems

Requirements:

  • Ability to advise at a strategic level during project conception, including providing advice on different approaches to successfully achieve client objectives
  • Great time management skills to ensure projects are managed to the right quality standards, completed efficiently, and on time
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with clients and cross-functional team members
  • Experience working as an effective team member within the context of delivering a specific commission
  • Business development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross-selling opportunities
  • Key information and data are effectively shared and appropriately retained

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years demonstrated experience working on large complex airport construction projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to be highly effective in a client-facing role
  • College degree in Construction Management or a related field, and PMP certification
  • Membership in relevant professional organizations
  • Experience managing demanding stakeholders and work stream managers
