Your Contributions:

Your Responsibilities Include:
  • Leading the integration of cutting-edge technologies, such as deep learning, to improve machine vision systems and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Consulting with internal stakeholders to evaluate potential applications and identify high-impact opportunities for machine vision technology.
  • Delivering effective robotic solutions for both new and existing automated processes.
  • Selecting appropriate hardware and developing software to operate new equipment.
  • Providing support during the installation and commissioning of machinery.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, 3M requires the following minimum qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • At least two years of experience in machine/computer vision, automated inspection, industrial automation, manufacturing technology, robotics, or control systems.

Additional qualifications that may enhance your success in this role include:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with machine vision platforms such as Fanuc, Keyence, or Cognex.
  • Familiarity with automation and robotics.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and data analytics.
  • Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley systems and hardware.

Location:
This position is based in Valley, NE (On-site).

Travel Requirements:
May involve up to 10% domestic or international travel.

Relocation Assistance:
May be available.

Compensation Overview:
The expected compensation range for this position is $93,033 - $113,708, which includes base pay and potential variable incentive pay. This range is a good faith estimate for this role and may vary based on factors such as relevant experience and skills.
