Position Overview
Staffing Proxy is currently in search of a dedicated and friendly individual to fill the role of Hearing Healthcare Technician. Our organization is committed to providing exceptional hearing care services and fostering a welcoming environment for our patients.

As a Hearing Healthcare Technician, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the experience of patients who utilize hearing aids. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with a team of audiologists and supporting our specialized hearing aid service center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of hearing aids.
  • Assist in troubleshooting hearing devices both in-person and via phone consultations.
  • Coordinate and schedule follow-up appointments for patients.
  • Facilitate the pairing of smartphones with hearing devices.
  • Oversee the inventory and management of hearing aid supplies.
  • Handle the check-in process for hearing aids sent for repair and arrange for patient pickups.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or certification in a healthcare-related field is a plus.
  • Experience in customer service or patient care, ideally within a healthcare context.
  • Basic knowledge of hearing aids and troubleshooting methods is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient service.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices in the field of audiology.
