Position Overview:
The Security Systems Project Coordinator will oversee the effective and high-quality implementation of integrated security solutions. This role demands substantial project engagement, encompassing the physical setup, evaluation, and completion phases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the subject matter expert and guide for the assigned team of technicians.
  • Install, assess, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all security systems at client locations.
  • Installation tasks will include, but are not limited to: Video NVR/Servers, IP Cameras, Access Control Devices, Intrusion Devices, Head End Panel Installations, Intercoms, Wireless Devices, and Switch Gear.
  • Execute assigned projects within defined scope, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Provide clients with operational training and system guidance.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, including maintaining accurate daily records and adhering to operational standards.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Comply with all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Review material options and confirm accuracy of counts.
  • Ensure a clean and organized job site.
  • Coordinate the delivery of staged materials to the work site.
  • Collaborate with Project Management and Field Technicians for effective project scheduling.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior/Lead Technician with a security integration firm (including current manufacturer certifications).
  • Experience in access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems:
    • Video Surveillance: Familiarity with systems such as Genetec, Milestone, Exaqc, Axis, Hanawa, etc.
    • Access Control: Knowledge of RS2, S2, Lenel, Genetec, Feenics, etc.
    • Intrusion: Experience with DMP systems.
  • Valid US driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Industry experience in Industrial & Oil/Gas sectors.
  • Skills in data terminations.
  • Field engineering or estimating expertise.
  • Proficiency in updating blueprints using Bluebeam.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Procore, Fieldwire, Smartsheets, etc.
  • Experience in programming, testing, and training end-users on various security systems.
  • Willingness to travel for work as needed.

Physical Demands:
Employees must be able to meet the following physical demands to successfully perform essential job functions:
  • Regularly required to stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop.
  • Frequent use of hands for handling, feeling objects, and typing; reaching with hands and arms; talking and hearing.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Use of power tools is necessary for effective job performance.
  • Occasional lifting/moving of up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:
Employees may encounter the following conditions while performing essential job functions:
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, work on job sites, and occasional travel to various locations.
  • Work may occur in a typical office environment and around construction equipment.
  • Noise levels are usually moderate, with potential confined space entry and high work required.
