Job Summary

This role is part of our Hybrid Work From Home Initiative, offering a unique blend of remote and on-site work. As a Client Support Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, handling incoming calls and identifying their needs. You will also maintain computerized client problem tracking, act as a liaison between clients and the clinical laboratory, and perform internal client account maintenance. To succeed in this position, you will need a working knowledge of medical terminology, reference laboratory operations, and laboratory information systems. Additionally, you will be required to work any shift, holiday, or weekend as needed, and travel among company sites as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle all incoming calls and identify client needs
  • Maintain computerized client problem tracking
  • Act as a liaison between clients and the clinical laboratory
  • Perform internal client account maintenance
  • Use laboratory information systems to input and obtain relevant patient information
Requirements
  • Completion of high school or equivalent
  • Health care experience or post-high school education in health care, laboratory sciences, or equivalent sciences
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and reference laboratory operations
  • Working knowledge of word processing software and ability to learn laboratory computer systems
  • Professional, clear, and concise oral and written communication
  • Ability to work any shift, holiday, or weekend as needed
  • Ability to travel among company sites as needed
