Key Responsibilities:

As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and presenting a variety of hot and cold dishes for banquets, room service, and catered events.
  • Collaborating with the Banquet Chef to ensure smooth operations and high-quality food service.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
  • Following recipes and portion control guidelines to minimize waste and ensure consistency.
  • Assisting in the training and guidance of kitchen staff.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A valid WA Food Worker card.

Working Environment:

This position requires standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Candidates should be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and be comfortable working in varying temperatures.
