Wage Range: $48.82 - $81.46 per hour + shift premium + comprehensive benefits package.
Incentives:
Up to $20,000.00 bonus for seasoned MRI Technologists with a minimum of one year of experience and new hires at EvergreenHealth.
Up to $5,000.00 bonus for MRI Technologists with less than one year of experience and new hires at EvergreenHealth.
Note: Bonuses are pro-rated based on FTE and experience. The posted wage ranges encompass the entire spectrum from minimum to maximum. For positions with multiple levels, the range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Additional premiums may apply based on shift, certifications, or degrees. Job offers are determined by a candidate's relevant experience, educational background, and internal equity.
Position Overview:
Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures in the MRI department at a technical level for diagnostic purposes under a physician's directive.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute intricate examinations and procedures, including the administration of contrast media under the direct supervision of a Radiologist.
2. Assess patients' overall condition to determine the most effective examination approach.
3. Assist patients in preparing for the study, ensuring appropriate attire, reviewing the procedure, addressing questions, and alleviating concerns.
4. Regulate access to the magnet room.
5. Adhere to magnetic safety protocols and conduct patient screenings to ensure safety.
6. Provide protection in accordance with established MRI safety standards.
7. Inform the radiologist of any positive screening responses as necessary.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Current ARRT or ARMRIT certification or registry eligibility.
- Current WA State Radiologic Technologist licensure.
- Registration in MRI Technology within one year of employment.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by the date of hire.
- Specialized training in the operation and performance of MRI scanners.
Preferred:
- At least one year of experience in a radiology environment.
