GIS Software Developer

We are seeking a skilled GIS Software Developer to join our team at EBA Engineering, Inc. As a GIS Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing custom web-based solutions, collaborating with project teams and clients, and designing and building solutions within a remote team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing automation processes, scripts, and routines
- Collaborating with project teams and clients to develop custom web-based solutions
- Designing and building solutions within a remote team environment
- Developing test plans, implementing unit tests, and test scripts
- Managing tasks and tracking work, documentation, status, and results in a primarily agile development environment
Requirements:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including document object model manipulation
- Experience with React or another modern JavaScript framework such as Vue, Ember, or Angular
- Must have experience using GIS software
- Demonstrated proficiency using version control software
- Experience developing HTML/CSS
- Understanding of geospatial concepts and visualization
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience with the ArcGIS Platform, especially in development
- Experience developing responsive web applications
- Knowledge of Python, or.NET
- Experience interfacing with REST APIs
- Knowledge of RDBMS systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, and/or PostgreSQL)
